Took a chance based off of reviews and was not disappointed!!! My group signed up for the 6hr Shark/Red Drum trip. Galveston Fishing Adventures (GFA) sent detailed instructions prior to the trip and was super responsive to questions we had. The instructions GFA gave us were spot on for arriving at the dock and meeting up with Captain Kevin on boat Cobia.
Captain Kevin had everything ready, lines strung, bait loaded and boat ready. We had a 6am meet time and we were on the water by 6:05. Started our trip by catching Sand Trout to use as bait for our shark trip and then out to deep water for the sharks. Captain Kevin put us right on the sharks and…well, I’ll let the pics speak for themselves.
The 6hr trip was the PERFECT amount of time. Captain Kevin cleaned and filleted everything and then recommended a place in town to take our shark for lunch, Huli Huli Hut, delicious!!!
Hands down one of the top fishing trips I’ve been on. Thanks GFA!!!
